Teamwork. The ultimate act of parenthood.

Parenthood gets you to work together in ways you never did before. It creates moments when it’s the hardest to be the best version of yourselves. The most patient version. The kindest version.

But it’s also the most rewarding. You learn to lean on each other, to adapt and to communicate like never before too.

Being invited into your space, I love witnessing your bonds and your shared glances of adoration. These fleeting moments, though sometimes exhausting, are the foundation of something truly beautiful - your family’s story ✨

A focus on slow, intentional moments ✨

When we’re intentional, we focus on what truly matters. We do things with great care, slow down, nurture relationships.

Through our time together, from our first chats to our session, I aim to create space for connection, joy and whatever may happen in a moment.

This means I’ll guide you gently, but I’ll also give you the freedom to simply be. I want you to feel comfortable enough to laugh, snuggle, play, and embrace just spending time as a family.

And sometimes the magic is in a pause - see the video at the end 💤

I love adding this dimension to your photographic story and capture the clips directly in-camera during our session.

Edited in a soft, cinematic style, these films are like stepping into the heart of a memory, reliving the love and connection in a way that feels immersive.

Collaborating with my families on the creative pro

Collaborating with my families on the creative process is one of my favourite parts of photographing them.

It’s not just about my vision and what I want to create. And it’s not only about theirs.

It’s all about coming together, in a collaborative space, for me to be inspired by them and for them to trust me.

It starts when we first start chatting, getting to know each other and exploring what we’d like our photos to look and feel like.

It encompasses personalised outfit curation, getting to know the spaces we create in, understanding what your active toddler loves, and hearing the story of how your sweet newborn came into this world.

In that collaborative space, my goal is to guide you, but also to step back and let your story unfold, capturing the authentic moments that matter most.

It’s almost like a dance between us. And it’s my favourite place to be with you 🤍

Having an almost 2 year old daughter and an almost

Having an almost 2 year old daughter and an almost 5 year old son of my own offers such a stark contrast to those early, hazy newborn days.

Yes, babies might cry, be fussy and keep you up all night, but when you think back of this time, you won’t think much of that.

Instead you’ll remember the tiny toes, the perfectly rounded cheeks, their little hands clasping onto your fingers and all those cosy snuggles.

This time is so fleeting and it’s so worth having it captured 🤍

Twelve sweet months, one of my favourite milestones ✨

It’s usually that perfect moment before the first big steps, when they’re still testing out this newly-found ability, cruising but not yet walking.

They’re so full of determination yet still snuggly enough to rely on mummy and daddy for a helping hand.

My little loves 🤍

I try to have our own family photographs taken at least once a year (this year twice even!).

These photos are so precious to us now, but will be even more so in the years to come. When we don’t remember the details of the our everyday anymore, and when the little moments start to blur together, these photos will hold the love (and the beautiful chaos!) that filled our days.

Does everything always go to plan in our photos? Not at all, but that’s how memories are made. Getting the kids to smile is great, but it’s also just a moment for everyone to be present and be our true selves ✨
