I’m Lisa, a London maternity, newborn and family photographer, based in Chelsea. I strive to create natural, soft and timeless lifestyle photographs telling your family’s unique story.

What would you like to remember the most?

Possibly one of the most important questions to ask yourself when capturing photos.

Is it a particular age? What your typical family morning looks like? What it felt like when they fit into your arms so easily? When they played with your hair, snuggled into that nook between your neck and shoulders and still fell asleep after a milk feed?

Those future memories. They seem so ordinary now but looking back on them will be so special 🩶

When I join you at home, there’s joy, connection

When I join you at home, there’s joy, connection and that gentle vulnerability of those early postpartum days.

There’s been little sleep, you’re lost in the oxytocin bubble, but soaking up that newborn smell and the sleepy smiles. It’s exhausting but there’s a feeling of completeness and it’s beautiful to witness.

This shoot was one of those. Little Ella at 19 days new. 🤍

This gives you a moment to pause, reflect and think what truly matters in your family’s story. The questions aren’t just logistical - they’re designed to get you thinking about the little things that make your family unique and that you’d want to remember about this season of life… like your family’s morning rituals, your favourite activities, something that feels so familiar.

By reflecting on these details, you’ll naturally connect more deeply to the experience, and when these details show up in your images, it won’t just be about what they look like.

For once in front of the lens ✨

I’m Lisa, a mother of two and family photographer based in Chelsea, London.

My first memories of really loving photography go back to when I was around 10 years old and borrowed my dad’s Leica. I was always giddy with excitement getting the prints back from our local lab and trying out my dad’s latest camera (he’s not a professional photographer but his passion for technology and documenting memories clearly left its marks).

A few years later, I was definitely that girl in school and at uni who carried around a small point & shoot camera to snap memories of wherever I went. Living in Scotland at the time, I particularly loved shooting landscapes and even developed some of my own film (although I shot almost all digital by then).

Fast forward and after my son was born, I truly became obsessed with documenting little every day moments of our family. Looking back at my dad’s photos of my own childhood, it’s those unposed and candid moments that take me right back in time.

I particularly adore creating motherhood portraits, as so often we’re the ones behind the camera. I love making you see yourself and your family through my lens, an overlap of your story and mine, and creating something beautiful with you. A moment of genuine connection, documenting the love you have for them.

The fourth trimester. An immense time of change,

The fourth trimester.

An immense time of change, not just for your baby entering this world but for you as well.

Your body is healing, you’re adjusting to your new life, dealing with sleep deprivation and trying to make sense of all the conflicting advice you’re constantly receiving (I found this especially with my first).

Riding the emotional rollercoaster from overwhelming love to unexpected moments of doubts and anxiety.

To any new mum who is feeling the struggle - you’re stronger than you think. It gets easier. It passes.

And then you might just miss those earliest days 🫶
